ReplyDeleteall good points Peltman but this is backyard mentality. the majority of players playing here did not even play organised cricket in their life. some have no discipline and no respect for the game and some seem to know everything even tho they know jack. For every good step forwards you try to do the majority make you walk 10 steps backwards and that is why this will always be run by no brainers.

DeleteNo my friend it was not about thinking that. They just wanted to see if they could compete against the best players and still had fun even though they were getting beat every game. As for me I was part of the Masters team that year.......doing water runs for my team mates all weekend. I got some early practice in for the following years. Good training for me.

Support your team all you want but stay away from over drinking and getting into silly arguments, avoid using indecent language as well. Also, please make all efforts to use the public toilets when nature calls. Dress appropriate too.
