Five games were scheduled for Div 1 yesterday out of which 3 teams gave 3 sides walkovers.
Now how is this in the best interest of promoting softball cricket in South Florida when Div 1 teams grant walkovers towards the end of the season when they have nothing to play for?
The biggest news was hearing Hustlers 1 getting a bowled out from the United 1 squad.
Hustler 1 were out for a sorry looking 29 all out.
Is this some sort of record in the SFSCL for lowest score made?
Feel free to comment if you have heard of any lower scores.
I don't know any other team that score such a low score. Congrats Hustler 1 for the record.....
ReplyDeleteEven if it isn't , 29 all out from the big bad wolf of div 1 ? Shame on that bunch.
ReplyDelete29 IS THE LOWEST SCORE EVER...HOW COME THEY HAVE FALLEN TO SUCH A LOW?
ReplyDeleteMy team was bowled out for 9 two years ago but it was against my older sister in my mum backyard.
ReplyDeletehhahhaha good one
Delete5 games and 3 teams give walkovers. President, Breakaway, and Diamond. Shame on you all. The league should fine the lot of you and relagate all of you to your own division. Diamond should not be playing the the 1st division anyway.
ReplyDeleteSlipman,
DeleteThanks for your comments but since when does the league stop this from happening?
Teams breakup other teams and then when they don't have nothing to play for, they forfeit games.
Don't blame the teams.....blame the governing body for allowing that to happen.
Teams forfeiting games can have serious consequence for teams looking to make play offs. Point: playing out all your games can have that element of surprise.
ReplyDelete29 all out. You must be joing. Powerhouse team is falling down with their same old players.
ReplyDeleteit's official on the league page. 29 all out
ReplyDeleteMake that 4 teams giving walkovers. Hustler gave a walkover to.....hahaaa
ReplyDeleteWas this team Champions a few years ago? It looks like they are still playing with the same team who are not improving.Time to recruit for you all.
