The SFSCL has come up with a new format where they have now split the teams into 3 Divsions.
The Premier League will have 8 teams, Div One 8 teams, and Div Two 7 teams.

This may prove to be a masterstroke by the SFSCL admins and may encourage more teams to join the league in the future. Having 3 divisions now, will see more evenly matched games throughout the season and with 3 finals at the end of the season, this will give the chance for the weaker sides a chance to become champions of their division rather than becoming the whipping boys week in week out.
The new season kicks off this coming sunday.
How come Lehigh CC drop from the top div to the 3rd division? Already some politics going on here even before the season start.

ReplyDeleteWarriors set up definitely in cahoots with this new arrangement, allowing Lehigh A dropping down to Div3 from Div1. Remember, they move heaven and earth to get there. Why? From 1 to 3? Not even in the middle?

DeleteThe other teams should all forfeit the Fall season and don't play any games until the President starts thinking about the other 21 teams in the SFSCL. Lehigh and Warriors arrangement between themselves should not have been allowed.

Deletelatest news around town is that only 6 teams in the div 3 after new team Hollywood dropped out. looks like a complete shambes for that division with 3 teams all from lehigh playing against 2 teams from miami. gas prices are going up as well to make matters worse for them

Two top experienced batters and an overseas allrounder from Guyana who everybody knew about during last season is what I heard. Tell me that is not true nah?
