hustlers should send dem whole squad, everyone of them 45 plus me think
ReplyDeleteAgreed ....45 plus with spinal cord injuries (SCI)
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the boys are off to Orlando in March with Amar and his SCI squad. That could be an interesting drink party, I meant cricket competition.
ReplyDeleteChris
Sfcl moved their competition to Orlando or we're having separate ones in the same month?
ReplyDeleteSeparate comps in the same month.
ReplyDeleteThe timing by the Orlando league seems interesting.
Very interesting indeed, as I don't see teams coming from far will do it twice in the same month, unless they are retired and have nothing to do.
ReplyDeleteIf teams chose not to tour twice , this will definitely lower the level of
competition. Just saying.
Basically it boils down to who has the most cash prize to offer to lure in the teams. If teams want to support one or the other, it's their choice at the end of the day.
ReplyDeleteYes, they have " other exciting prices" you won't know until you're there.
ReplyDeleteTeams had enough of our holi water?
they will all miss out on the chicken curry in a box for all 3 days .....haha
DeleteTheir lost !!
ReplyDeleteJust join the above conversation and what I gather here is, this League will be held accountable if this competition stopped by lack of support.
ReplyDeleteThe league can't be made accountable simply because they can't stop other organisations from doing their own thing. The SFSCL does not have that power.
DeleteThis is not a worldwide governing body overseeing leagues that can surface whenever they feel the need to. This is all about power struggles between 2 leagues.
Hey, that can't be true when visiting teams welcome this change because they don't like the way prezzie and his League running things.
DeleteOther teams are free to do whatever they want. There is no written contract saying that teams have to attend any League competitions. Teams support these tournaments at their own expense.
DeleteIt would be a shame to see the Florida Cup fold up without the support of other leagues but an old adage says, " When one door closes, others will always open"......
Opening the Florida Cup up to independent teams is the way forward. It stopped being a league comp years ago anyway.
Briton, I heard major changes coming to Hustler2 , mate.
ReplyDeleteYes, indeed there are rumours of changes.......very big changes are in the pipeline. Nothing is ever for sure until the first game and the first 11 is selected though.
Deleteare you guys changing the cow pasture too?
DeleteBy all recent accounts everybody has stopped complaining about our Yard as most teams enjoy watching balls disappearing with great regularity towards the Turnpike. The only people complaining now are the execs as the new 30 over game rules now mean we shall be doubling up on lost balls every sunday.
Delete30 over game ? Wtf? This will eliminate the injured and the old guys for good.
ReplyDeleteI am more concerned about the game time extension meaning our drinking time is now cut down on game days....
DeleteI thought the British retired last season
Deletehaha...all the retired homes refused the ole chap
ReplyDeleteHis ole english ass is moving like a ole donkey nowadays. Someone put him down quick lol
DeleteOh man......Retirement homes not taking me now and even people saying I am like an old donkey and need shooting to put me out of my misery.
DeleteThanks for all the love and support
That's support right there , look for love elsewhere..lol
ReplyDeleteFile Cabinet and Food Stamp Beers will be now put into hiding for this season. I will drink all the Food Stamp Beers by myself this weekend.
DeleteChris
file cabinet? what is that
DeleteThe file cabinet is our substitute cooler
DeleteSounds like you guys filing your beers in order of one's intake/choice..lol
ReplyDeleteSir, I must say this hustler2 team is the most innovative when it comes to their booze
ReplyDeleteWe have guys who have converted their weekly Food Stamps into Beer Stamps.
ReplyDeleteUncle Sam will be happy we use their resources in a smart way.
Haha
Chris
...you guys love having a good laugh. That's the spirit everyone should be playing with, and not win at all cost. Hustler2 is the best SFSCL team.
ReplyDeleteH2 will soon become the SCI (Spinal Cord Injured) team for Amar in the next Florida Cup.
DeleteBefore that the Orlando comp and if we are all still able to walk after all that cricket without any walking aids we will aim to compete in the SFSCL season........Bandages, walking sticks, walking frames are more than a welcome donation from any new sponsors wanting to save us......lol
heard you guys had a knock up , how was it?
ReplyDeleteThe practice went well before the rain came down and stopped it all. It was a good interruption.......drinks started early.
DeleteSCI will be hoping they get some League big guns this time around
ReplyDeleteSCI are going as the league team right?
DeleteGreat news for Amar and his SCI team representing the League.
Deletedid anybody tell Amar he will need to make space for the league elite master players and drop some his regular guys?
DeleteI notice the League has Amar team as CSI now. No need to investigate anything, your team members disappearing of old age - that's all.
DeleteCSI Amar and his team will do well as they have all the h2 guys available for him
Deletebruk up new flash......SFSCL not sending a master team to orlando.....Amar has the green light to take all his hustler team with him now
Delete
