The table above shows 3 Hustler batsmen in the top 10 listing of best batsmen so far after 8 rounds played in the Spring season.
Ravi, Cliff, and Chris have all scored runs at various stages of the season and with only 3 more regular season games to go, the three of them would like to add to their run aggregate accumalated so far and push their side to an outside shot of a playoff position.
If the results favour the side over the next 3 weeks then they could sneak in a number 4 spot by the back door.
Either way, the Hustler team will have to step up from their past performances and look to win out for the rest of the season starting this sunday against Guyana Heat. This is a big task for the Hustler team but stranger things have happened as teams all vie for that playoff position.
Out of the 10 listed seven of them are over 45 years old. How many of them played for the Fl Masters team this season? One is the answer.....Selectors are seeing something else when they pick the squad or they blind and favoring the usual players?
ReplyDeleteMost of them should play but for one reason or another they don't want to. It is not the league fault.
DeleteTop the tree is Jay who has hit an impressive 4 hundreds so far. He is really in a rich vein of form. Good batting from him.
ReplyDeleteHustlers wont make number 4. They do not have good bowling to defend a score. The batsman is there but the bowlers is the weak link.
