SFSCL Awards Night

The SFSCL Annual awards Presentation was again another huge success for all the guests and teams who attended the event.

Basil & Chris
The Hustlers 2 team players who attended the event saw skipper Basil collect his 50 plus score trophies, Amar his bowling award, Cliff with his 3 fifty plus scores awards, and Chris with his batting trophies. Absentees Ravi, John, Mike, Deo, and Terry's awards for bowling, wicket keeping, and batting accomplishments were received on the night and will be boxed up and presented to them all at the start of the new season.

The biggest award winner on the night for Hustlers 2 was a surprise MVP Award for 2013 top player in Division 1 that went to Chris. His yearly run count was over 1200 runs in the 3 seasons played that included 9 fifty plus scores and 4 hundreds. He also was a league record maker with 5 fifty scores in one season that included 2 hundreds during the summer season which really was a purple patch for him. He was also the only person in the history of the SFSCL to score back to back centuries in consecutive innings. His record breaking batting consistency was awarded with a nice looking trophy courtesy of CRICKETZONEUSA.

Cliff, Chris, and Basil posing with the MVP Award for best Division player of the year.
Chris would like to thank the SFSCL for acknowledging his performances throughout the year from his peers with a beautiful looking award. He added, "Each and every one of my awards are special to me but I would gladly swap them all for a Championship win for my side, and maybe this year will be our year when we accomplish that".He also would like to add a special thanks to his skipper Basil for allowing him to keep the position as opener for the Hustlers team during tough times with the bat and is hopeful that he can continue to do a good job for his team in the future seasons.

As the night went on and more drinks were drank to wind down the 2013 year celebration, we at Hustlers look forward to another year in the SFSCL in 2014 and wish all the teams competing the best of luck in the new seasons.

  1. Congratulations English on your Most Valued Player award for the year. This award was deserved by you as there was nobody close to your runs for the year. Best batsman of the year in 2013.

    1. Not quite raring to go. Very thirsty on sundays for the last few weeks which I reckon is about to change very soon.

  7. It is about time the SFSCL recognised you Chris. We started you off and from day one we knew you could bat and showed us what a great asset you became to our team. This honor was long overdue but you still showed class whoever you play against. Enjoy the moment Chris.

  8. Well done Chris. I'm surprised to see you are still playing as most of us thought you left cricket behind in the UK. Keep the runs flowing mate.

    2. All is good here in London. Too cold to play cricket but indoor netting starts in 2 weeks time.I'm jealous that you are in Florida in that heat while we wrap up like eskimos.

  12. You lucky ***t. Living in florida and still playing in the sun all year around? That is heaven to us freezing our bollocks off in England right now. I just see Dips post on here earlier. His indian arse changed colour to blue as it's so cold overhere now. You lucky ***t for winning that big prize. Joking buddy.

  13. Thank you for all the good wish message guys. Nice to see some of my old team players still about. Dips, Sunil and Alec. You all should bring the boys over for a quiet drink or two in sunny Florida.Get clearance from the missus first though.

  14. Any chance of a full frontal rubdown from a hot bird preferably Latin looking, free of charge?

    1. Alec......It seems you have never changed one bit. Full frontal is for only young people over here. You passed that age 25 years ago.

    1. We wasted too much time with youngsters already. They all need diapers and milk every week if they cant get their way. No time for that anymore.
