After a long regular season in Div 2, the final 2 teams left standing are the young Warriors and the much older and experienced Hustler 2 team.
Word around the South Florida league now favor Warriors as being the winners with the Hustlers team ending up as runners up. As we all know that on Finals Day any team can become victorious and it will all boil down to who makes the least errors on the day.
The players who are selected in their respective teams are expected to give it all in one last game of the season to become Champions.
Warriors will be bringing top batsman of the division Anoop with his opening partner Shazam on sunday with middle order men Mustaq, and Wayne. Their bowling strength consists of Fahron and the Florida Cup Masters winner Mahese backed up by Anoop and Shazam.
Meanwhile, Hustlers have plenty of batting with John, Ravi, Cliff, Mike, Deo, Basil, Mukesh, and Sanjeev all in good form to fight fire with fire.
The Hustler bowling lineup has been firing all season and not to be underestimated too. This game is going to be a classic final.
Who will be victorious? Will it be the much fancied Warriors outfit or will it be the Yard Boys Hustlers 2 CC?

Well Well. All the hard work from February to April by the 4 top teams comes down to Sunday. All roads lead to Brian Piccolo Park. My prediction is Hustlers 1 and Warriors will win. Warriors will edge out Hustlers 2 with better fielding.

Hopefully myself and Shazam could give us a good start and we can put up a good total for hustler to chase.

The key to the eventual winners will be who leads their team the best and which players step up their game and perform. In this game there is plenty of match winners who can win the game for their team. It's going to be a great final.

That is the problem with 99% of the teams in the league. That's why the transfer of players market is busy all year around. The SFSCL Draft is more busier than the NFL & NBA Draft.

Hustlers2 cc is no match for warrior cc. Even the Lehigh player can,t help them. Warrior beating this game with no problem.

ReplyDeleteNo reserve tactics here... The last time we played, we won the toss and usually we bat first. However, some of the older Warriors players said they bowled out Hustlers2 for 120 something in their prior game. So they wanted to field. We tried it and it failed. Not going to happen again!

That game the warriors umpire decided to call a very late and delayed front foot no ball after the batsman had been caught on the mid off boundary.at 199. Also the same batsman who went on to win the game for warriors also was got caught behind when he attempted a sweep and the ball went 30 ft straight up in the air and was caught by the Hustler keeper only for the same umpire and batsman to say it came off his leg. Can you believe that it went 30 ft in the air off his leg !!!!!

DeleteGuys - Pound for pound Warriors will match Hustlers 2 with batting and bowling. It will come down to which side hold on to the catches and fielding on the whole. This is where Warriors will beat Hustlers because of their substandard fielding.
