Playoff Semi Final Schedule Fall 2014

    • Hustlers 2 CC vs Lehigh CC



    Playoff games are nearly upon us as we come to the ending of the Fall season for 2014. Which teams are the most fancied ones to progress to the finals? Are there any clear favourites in the 4 scheduled games?

    H2 have had a tough season throughout with trying to get 11 fit able bodied players all on the field at the same time since Game 1 so to reach the semi final stage is a big achievement alone for us. Just reaching this stage is already our final.

    Somehow, we managed to get through the division as the number 4 seed and then surprisingly beat the number 1 seed Vikings CC team from Zone B in the quarter finals with a comprehensive win.

    What are your thoughts guys? Who do you think will go all the way ?

    Hustlers v Untd.
    Winners will be Hustlers, They are the best team this season and Untd have seen better days but not good enough anymore.

    Outlaws v Hurricanes
    Winners will be Hurricanes. There batting is too strong for the bowling from Outlaws.

    President v Berbice
    Berbice will take this one. President cant match the Berbice batsmen unless Peltman pelts them all out.

    Hustlers 2 v Lehigh
    Lehigh to win. Hustlers too old and tired to win this one.No bowling, fielding or batting to trouble lehigh.

      Best team play on all type of surface grass loom etc.... and dont complain and run to the big chief looking for a ground switch

      Can League officials please tell me where exactly Hustller2 vs. LeHigh CC will be played? I prefer to watch this match, seem like a good one in the making. Need to know by Thursday to ask for time off.

      Looks like the league site changed the venue again.....i guess the big guns have changed to suit themselves as per normal

      The team that won the right to host should be allowed to do so without the pressures from within. The league will face a serious backlash should this game move from the host ground. Just saying.

      This quote above cannot be coming from the league. I for one do not believe they would say this. Whoever is posting this should realise that these type of posts can cause serious issues.

      Dear Sir, I have some League experience and trust me when I tell you guys (Hustler2 ), show up at your ground on time with wicket and ground in all readiness. If the other team doesn't show up then you win by virtue of a walkover/forfeiture. It's a no brainer.
      The league should have already put this to rest but for some strange reason they allowing their master-mind to rule the roost.
