    1. Tickets are free. However, entry into the venue requires careful bribery of H2 players with ample amounts of liquid refreshments.

  3. This Hustler 2 team might be old and lack bowling but from what I see they have the best batting lineup in the division. This one is hard to call, maybe at halftime.

Combined age around 700 years with around a million cricket games played between all of them.
    Drinks count is astronomical.
    Bandage count even higher........

    2. lehigh have too much pace bowling for them all...all out for less than 50

    3. The Yaad will take care of that pace. Their keeper will be working extra hard behind the stumps.

    4. Selection was easy. Only 12 qualified out of 13 players

    1. Preparations are going well so far.
We have our coolers in place., ice buyers allocated, and a multiple choice selection of fine beers and other liquid refreshments all on back order ready for sunday.

      The game is secondary.

      Thanks

    3. We are under no illusions that we are the underdogs against LCC. Everybody feels they are the hot favorites and we are just too old to win this one and just got lucky reaching the semi finals.

I believe the winner will be the one who handles the pressure the best.

    1. We don't even have feelings left in our bodies to even concern ourselves about feeling pressure.

Tell Jeff the only issue we have is which hand to hold the drink before cramp sets in.

  8. BRIT, WHO ARE THE TARGET PLAYERS FOR THIS MATCH-UP...AND WHO IS JEFF?...THOMSON?

    1. Jeff is about to become the team doctor to aid in the recovery process of after game aches and pains we all suffer from.

      Match up?
The only match up worth mentioning for sunday is whether the first one to crack is CORONA, HEINY, or COORS.

  10. LeHigh Cricket Club Vs Hustlers II Cricket Club
1-Innings Match Played At Veterans Park, 27-Apr-2014, Division Two

LeHigh Cricket Club Win by 4 runs

LeHigh Cricket Club 1st Innings 8/178 Closed (Overs 25)
Hustlers II Cricket Club 1st Innings 8/174 Closed (Overs 25)

This is the result when we last played.

We didn't need a doctor when they beat us before, all we needed was another round of drinks.

    1. Maybe but remember this game was played at Lehigh on their flat pristine surface.
Both teams have to contend with the uneven cow pasture this time around though and batting at the Yaad needs special talents as well as special talents when bowling.

  12. THEREFORE WHAT YOU'RE SAYING, YOU GUYS HAVE THE ADVANTAGE OF PLAYING HOME. STILL ADVANTAGE TO THE MORE YOUNG AND SKILL FULL LCC.

    1. Advantage to LCC as they are man for man better than us. The toss is key in this game.

  13. TO BE FAIR YOU GUYS HAVE TONS OF EXPERIENCE THOUGH. MIKE IS ALREADY A STAND OUT WHO PLAYED LOTS OF 1ST DIV CRICKET.
